The members of the original Nintendo generation have begun to enter their 20s and 30s. Many of them even have children of their own. For many, the onset of adult life comes with an occasional desire to revisit some of the simple pleasures of youth, and there can hardly be a better way to do this than by replaying some of the classic console games that gave us so much pleasure in childhood.

Like G.I. Joe figures, Star Wars toys, Barbie dolls, baseball cards, and any number of other pop culture playthings that transfixed so many thirty- and forty-somethings during their childhood years, classic video games have become something of a commodity in the collector’s market.

Many off the big brand peripheral manufactures like Logitech, Razor, Thermaltake and Belkin along with lessor known brands like Cyber Snipa, ACEPHA and TAC have all added PC gaming keypads or gamepads to their arsenal of gaming weapons. The latest entry to this niche peripheral market is Hunter with their Hunter 1.0 mechanical keypad for PC.

If you are an avid gamer, have a soft spot for gaming nostalgia and so happen to be an iPhone user then your week has been made. Announced at the iPhone 7 launch, Nintendo showcased it's partnership with Apple to bring the iconic world of Mario to the mobile phone platform for the first time. 'Super Mario Run' will be running on iPhones and iPads first, scheduled for release in December, 2016.
